The GREEN-MAP summer school was a success

Our Department organized a summer school between 28-30 June, within the framework of the GREEN-MAP project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and development fund. The summer shool was attended by nearly 50 participants from three countries. Our guests had the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures on medical technology and sustainability, as well as on the management of medical waste, and to participate in a demonstration in our laboratories.
GREEN-MAP is a research and development project with the main goal of developing novel bio-based and biodegradable polymers for use as packaging materials for medical devices. The project involves several research groups from both the academic and industrial sectors, including the Technical University of West Pomerania in Szczecin, the University of Bologna, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Italian company Ecoinnovazione, KB Folie Polska, CompriseTec GmbH, Ohio State University and our department.
