Dennis Gabor Award was granted to Dr. László Meiszel! Congratulations!

The Dennis Gabor Award is one of the most prestigous awards in Hungary that is given for engineering achievements. It was awarded for the 28th time this year.

Dr. László Meiszel (in the middle) was granted the award for his engineering achievements and activity as an inventor in the past 50 years. He has developed a unique polypropylene fiber manufacturing and processing technique, established a factory to manufacture it, founded the first Hungarian membrane factory and made steps to start carbon fiber manufacturing in Hungary.
